Accountant

Currently recruiting for a great new role for my SME client based in Leatherhead. Due to start in either December or January for around a 3 to 6 month project, supporting the Finance Director in a new business venture.

The Interim Accountant role is paying around £200 per day. This will be a great role to get involved in starting a new finance function for the business subsidiary and improve current processes and controls.

Ideally you will have a worked within other SME's and have good all-around, hands on working experience. It is important that you feel comfortable in setting up new process and can hit the ground running.

Duties for Finance Executive

• Working closely with the Finance Director, you will be setting up the new entity for the business as well as working closely with key stakeholders
• A key part to this role will be managing purchase orders and invoices for the business as well as expenses and payment processes
• To manage the financial accounting and reporting systems
• Cost Analysis for the business
• To prepare financial reports and include cash flow forecasts
• Ownership of the month end process
• Maintain the cash book on Excel for each business bank account
• Organising regular reconciliations for all supplier statements and resolve any issues
• Other ad hoc support to the Fi8nance Director

Skills for Finance Executive

• Experience in developing and implementing new controls
• Comfortable working with senior members within a business
• Always looking at the bigger picture and what else can be done to make improvements
• ACCA, ACA, CIMA part quailed or qualified by experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Must have very strong commination skills
