Interim Financial Controller

The Company

A fast-paced Private Equity backed SME Technology business based in the City of London are seeking an interim Finance Manager to join and work in close cohesion with the company CFO. The business are going from strength to strength and are projected to almost double their turn-over this year. Hot off the back of making a very lucrative strategic acquisition, there’s an abundance of very interesting work at the company for the successful candidate to get their teeth into.

The Role 

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for monthly management reporting including financial performance, variance analysis and cashflow forecasting. Strong management and leadership skills are pivotal here as you will be managing a team of 6. Furthermore, due to the international nature of the business, you will be required to be able to effectively produce a set of multi-currency consolidated accounts.

Requirements

To apply for this role you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with previous experience working in an SME (under £100m turnover), ideally in an international business environment. You will have had experience producing multi-currency consolidations. You will also have the capability to cope under pressure in a fast-paced and growing but chaotic business through which you will be capable to produce credible numbers and management information. You will be a highly proficient team manager. Your Excel skills will be of a very good standard. You will also preferably have had experience working in a recruitment business, although this is not a prerequisite.
