Private equity backed global leader in the professional services sector, the organisation transforms the way people work, shop and live every day.  The business has transformed itself into an emerging powerhouse in its space having grown organically and via a well-funded and ambitious acquisition strategy.

Due to their growth and strategic plans, the business is combining the challenge of integrating several businesses at the same time as maximising shareholder value.  Initially they are looking for an EMEA FP&A Manager to lead on supporting the EMEA Executive and Senior Operational Management team with all relevant planning and performance reviews of the business. 

Reporting directly to the EMEA Director, the successful candidate will:

  • Be responsible for ensuring the production and analysis of EMEA Performance Management;
  • Provide advice and support to the EMEA Executive and Finance Leadership Team at MD and Operational levels;
  • Provide advice and support in the provision of the planning and performance management processes across the business;
  • Offer strategic support to the Finance Leadership Team by preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects;
  • Analyse the financial performance and forecasting of the business via regular monthly, interim and full year reporting;
  • Be responsible for the preparation of the global operations review packs and support with mapping issues across EMEA;
  • Support cash forecasting, understanding current debt and working cash management position and variances each month;
  • Analyse trends in key performance indicators and work with the business to develop relevant business insights;
  • Lead on business process improvement across all financial procedures and systems;
  • Be required to influence and advise senior management.

The EMEA FP&A Manager appointment is a crucial one within the organisation and would suit an individual who has previous experience working within a FTSE 100 or Fortune 500 matrix based business, possessing demonstrable expertise in leading an FP&A function.

The requirements:

  • FTSE 100/Fortune 500/large complex/blue-chip business training;
  • Outstanding FP&A, planning, forecasting and budgeting skills, managing a P&L upwards of $0.5bn;
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent);
  • Previous leadership experience and an ability to influence all levels of the business;
  • Previous experience of improving FP&A processes and systems;
  • Leading change within a large, complex, matrix based organisation.
