THE ROLE
-Reporting to the Retail Sales Director and working as part of the commercial finance team, the successful applicant will work in close partnership with sales and marketing and act as business partner to the senior commercial team.
-The positon will take responsibility for the commercial finance team to ensure that all financial and audit requirements are met and will work closely with the Commercial Financial Controller
-Financial and commercial analysis, competitor analysis, reporting and pricing will all form part of the role as will involvement with joint business plans and trading agreements
-The role provides key business support to manage and control financial risk and provides routine relevant financial business intelligence
-This is a full on, challenging finance position for a suitably qualified finance professional who wants to develop their career further in commercial finance with a global company

THE CANDIDATE
-You are a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant preferably with previous demonstrable experience of working in commercial finance
-Intellectually robust and with excellent analytical and communication skills, you are able to work successfully with a vibrant, focused team, relaying financial information to non finance staff
-The salary banding for this role takes into consideration candidates who may be just starting out in commercial finance or those who are experienced commercial accountants and looking to progress their careers with a global FMCG organisation
