Month End Close & Reporting Accountant

Our client is a major global manufacturer in the FMCG sector. A vacancy has arisen in their Finance Shared Service Centre for a suitably qualified/finalist ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent with strong financial accounting and analytical skills.

THE ROLE

-This is a 12-15 month FTC position and based on the Hull site although some occasional travel will be required
-The role will include managing the month end close process for a number of entities, review of reconciliations, accrual and management of general accounting and reporting activities.
-Ensuring KPI's are met, daily management of reporting resources with an outsourced partner and resolving complex issues within the reporting scope
-Co-ordinate and deliver training sessions with an outsourced service provider to improve service quality and KPI results on target



THE CANDIDATE

-Qualified/part qualified finalist ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent accountant
-Numerate, systems literate, strong analytical and communication skills
-Experienced in financial reporting, preferably from an FMCG background but not essential
-Forward thinking, driven, capable of challenging the status quo when required, an achiever.
