Group Accountant
Our client is a growing PE backed multi-site music and leisure Group with operations across the UK and Europe and a track record of profitable growth spanning more than 30 years.
A talented and motivated qualified accountant is now required to support the European Finance Director and take responsibility for Group reporting and financial management for the European Group as well as overseeing the accounting for Head Office and other ancillary profit and cost centres.
Group Accountant Role
Reporting to the European Finance Director the role has broad variety of responsibilities encompassing:-
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Statutory reporting and management of year end audit process
- Weekly and monthly management information
- Administration/management of tax for the Group
- Oversight of banking arrangements
- Company Secretarial matters
The Candidate
Suitable candidates will be qualified, well organised, possess solid technical skills and will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
This is ideal role for an accountant making his/her first move into industry and offers the added benefit (for some!) of it being a business with which you will likely have a natural affinity.
