Finalist Studier - Financial Business Analyst Job Description
- As the Financial Business Partner you will be responsible for the preparation of the annual financial budgets and monthly flexed budgets
- Business partnering with key internal and external stakeholders
- Preparing the monthly management accounts and reporting pack
- Developing the financial reporting systems and internal controls procedures
- Responsibility for managing the working capital
- Managing the day to day cash flow reporting
- Overseeing the preparation of VAT and Intrastat returns
- Preparing the annual statutory accounts
- Working closely with the Finance Director with managing import documentation and currency exchange risk with overseas suppliers
Profile
The Successful Applicant
- Finalist stage studier or part qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) although individuals who are qualified by experience will also be considered
- A proven track record of working in a growing business
- Strong communication skills
- Must adopt a hands-on work ethic and have the ability to work within a collaborative, challenging and consultative environment with a multitude of personalities
- Strong systems experience including Excel and SAP is highly desirable
- Proven track record of performance reporting and producing management and statutory financial statements.
- Proactive and self-motivated individual
- Must have ability to multi-task and to manage time effectively at all times
