Our client, a recognised retail brand are looking to strengthen their accounts team with the recruitment of an experienced Senior Management Accountant.  Reporting to the management team you will be responsible for the control, review, analysis and reporting of all financial, commercial and operational performance aspects of the company. Main duties will include;

Report weekly results and KPI's for executive management
Prepare as part of a team the monthly management accounts
Understand and analyse operational data driving financial numbers
Ensure integrity of balance sheet
Assist with the production of the year end accounts
Continuous improvement of monthly P&L and balance sheet
Providing relevant cost analysis to support the management accounts commentary
Customer and supplier due diligence checks
Quarterly VAT returns
Liaising closely with other departments within the business

My client are looking for someone who can beyond the numbers and actually analyse and understand the operational drivers. You will have a high level of commercial acumen coupled with excellent analytical skills. You will have strong communication skills and have the ability to challenge the status quo.

Salary guide £35000 - £40000 plus bonus
