The Company:


 


We are recruiting on behalf of an exciting hospitality business based in the heart of London.  The client specialises in high-end and luxury rentals in the most glamorous cities around the world, they are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their high performing team.  You will ideally have direct line management experience and the ability to discuss financial matters in French with ease.


 


 


Responsibilities:


 

• Production of the monthly management accounts; including payroll, providing commentary and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
• Creating and implementing improvements to policies, procedures and financial reporting systems to develop a robust financial control environment
• Direct line management of the accounts payable and receivable teams
• Submitting all returns and remitting the correct tax to ensure the group is fully compliant with local tax regulations
• Managing statutory audit for all entities in this multi-jurisdiction group and support external accountants
• Report the group results to our parent company 
• Be a point of contact for auditors, payment service providers, and banks
• Business partnering with lead stakeholders
• Supporting the launch of new cities and strategic growth.

 


 


Skills and experience:


 

• Ideally Degree educated at a top university, or equivalent highly relevant experience. 
• Top 20 practice background preferable
• 7+ years’ experience (from degree) 
• Must be French speaking, with strong French technical business background  
• Inquisitive and analytical, you thrive on tackling complex problems, and constantly building and refining process with rigour and diligence
• Strong attention to detail to spot trends and pick out inaccuracies 
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Netsuite experience preferable
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 
• Not afraid to challenge the status quo
