Financial Controller

Our client, a small but expanding restaurant group, is seeking a Financial Controller to join and grow with their business. Based in the heart of Soho, the Financial Controller will report to the two Owners and be responsible for the monthly numbers, managing a Finance Assistant but also working on strategy with the management team.  You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)


This is a ‘hands on’ role.  Key responsibilities include;

·         management accounts, budgets, forecasts & cash flow statements
·         financial/statutory reporting including VAT returns
·         cash management & control
·         developing & enhancing the accounting system & internal controls
·         initial recruitment & day to day management of an accounts assistant.
 

You will need

·         good technical & reporting background must be within the catering/hospitality sector
·         ability to present financial & commercial information in a clear, concise & timely manner
·         proven experience in production of financial management information for multi-unit sites
·         a high level of attention to detail & ability to use your initiative in resolving issues.
