Accounts Assistant job in Gloucester, working for an Accountancy Practice with a competitive Salary

Your new company
You will be working for an independent Accountancy Practice who are based in Gloucester, with over 20 years experience on the market. Currently serving a range of clients around Gloucester, Forest of Dean, The Wye Valley, The Malverns, and The Cotsworlds.

Your new role
You will be responsible for preparing accounts up to Trial Balance, before passing the accounts on to the Accountant. You will be responsible for all aspects of the ledger, including Sales and Purchase Ledger, Reconciliations, Journal Entries, Forecasting, etc.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a similar roles, and previously prepared accounts to Trial Balance. Previous Practice experience is advantageous, but not essential. You will have strong communication skills, and strong Excel Skills. You may be studying AAT, or be a QBE Accounts Assistant
