Tax and Accounts Assistant Sheffield £19,000 to £22,000 plus benefits AAT Qualified or ATT part qualified or equivalent
My client is a leading well established law firm looking to recruit a Tax and Accounts Assistant to join their team. You will be responsible for the preparation of personal tax and trust returns within the department.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with tax compliance
Preparation of personal tax and trust returns and repayment claims
Assisting with the preparation of trust accounts
Court of protection reports and accounts
The Person
You will ideally hold an accounting qualification (AAT or ATT_) or be studying towards your qualification and ideally have a minimum of two years experience of working in personal tax
Have a good knowledge of income tax and capital gains tax
Knowledge and experience of computer software packages for tax returns and accounts preparation would be an advantage
Excellent communication skills including writing letters and over the phone
You will have excellent organisation skills
