The Opportunity

A private equity backed retail business are looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join their team in their West London head office. There is an increasing need for someone to support the business and finance teams with reporting and analysis, resulting in business wide decision making to get the best out of engaging with their internal customers.

The Senior Commercial Analyst Role

• Day to day analysis reporting and data management
• Provide a high quality business partnering service to the relevant commercial team, typically Trading and Marketing
• To demonstrate tangible influence on improving profitability
• To have a strong understanding of the business area and be able to communicate effectively
• Quickly developing relationships with senior team members and the ability to influence at all levels from directors to junior level
• To be flexible to adapt to changing business priorities
• To be recognised as a key member of the commercial team they are involved in
• To keep up with the pace of a fast moving retail business

The Requirements

• Qualified accountant - ACA, CIMA or ACCA
• A retail or multi-site background
• An understanding of best-practice financial processes and controls.
• A problem-solver who engages positively with a can-do attitude. 
• Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise work with guidance from line manager.
• Works as part of a wider team. Hands on, deadline driven individual. A team player.
