Commercial Finance Manager required for Global Manufacturing Business in High Wycombe
Your new company
This global manufacturing business based in High Wycombe are going through an exciting period of growth and now require a proven and commercial finance manager to provide meaningful financial information and advice to business managers in order to facilitate sound business decisions.
Your new role
Responsible for all Business unit reporting (£60 M turnover, 4 key currencies)
- Produce monthly consolidated accounts in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Produce commentary and analysis to support the monthly accounts
- Produce monthly Visual Management KPI data for board
- Responsible for the monthly consolidation including an active & regular review of the financial accounts for the overseas subsidiaries (USA, France, Germany and China).
- Revenue and margin analysis reports based on product/region/segment on a monthly basis and ad hoc reports/analysis as required by the business
- Weekly orders/sales analysis
- Support overseas offices as required
Budgeting and Planning
- Control of forecasting, budget, and planning processes for the business
- Managing and driving the full budget process
- Forecasting cash & FX on a regular basis
- Support the NA board to develop the 5 year plan on an annual basis
Responsible for preparation of UK Accounts
- Manage the UK finance Team including general ledger, bank, accounts payable and credit control
- Monthly UK management accounts & upload to Group used reporting systems
- Review and approve all balance sheet reconciliations (inc bank)
- Understand business processes sufficiently to support finance function
- Manage UK expense process for site (outsourced function)
- Liaise with auditors as required
- Regular report on UK debtors and escalate issues to distribution managers and key accounts managers as necessary
- Contribute actively to the development of the finance function and its staff
What you'll need to succeed
- Graduate.
- Fully qualified accountant.
- Experience of developing internal reporting systems and reporting centrally within an international group.
- Experience of success as the management accountant in a complex, international business.
- High professional integrity.
- Highly developed numeracy and analytical skills.
- Experience of consolidation, budgeting and forecasting.
- High degree of practical, commercial awareness, hands on approach
