Description
A leading Consumer brand who have an amazing track record of career development and a superb culture are currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Manager.
The successful CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified Commercial Finance Manager will lead 2 high performing Qualified Senior Finance Analysts and business partner various senior stakeholders across the business.
Key responsibilities for the successful Commercial Finance Manager:
- Partner non-finance Directors to gain both an understanding of business processes and become an integral part of the respective senior team whose financial expertise is sought and valued
- Present financial information to non-finance teams whilst providing adequate coaching, support and training
- Encourage the Director’s to make informed business decisions using relevant information, taking opportunities to reduce cost base / maximise returns where you believe it appropriate
- Analyse current business practices and identify best practice and opportunities for improvement with benchmarking
- Implement strong financial discipline and controls into the forecasting and planning processes for all retail expenses
- Build a learning culture and ensure a strong review process is developed to allow continuous improvement
- Ensure the team is providing relevant information through accurate, timely and insightful analysis on performance of both quantitative and qualitative information
- Develop analytical tools and techniques that are best in class for improving store productivity
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience for the successful Commercial Finance Manager:
- CIMA,ACA,ACCA Qualified accountant
- Background in a commercial role with prior experience of financial analysis and modelling
- A proven track record of delivering results to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills across all levels are essential
- Must have well developed influencing skills to achieve desired outcomes
- A flexible attitude and forward thinking, analytical approach is a must
- Must be able to build effective business partnerships quickly
- Strong system skills - Microsoft Excel
