Property Accountant - 12 months contract - Real Estate. Our Client is an established residential property investment company who have been operating within the London markets for over 30 years. They are now seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their prestigious accounting team to provide support to the CFO.

 

The Role will require you to fulfil the following duties:

  • Prepare final trial balance to produce final accounts.
  • Create weekly / monthly and quarterly reporting including; collection and arrears, bank balances, cash flow, profit and loss.
  • Prepare the budgets mentoring and variance analysis.
  • Oversee the purchase ledger, general / nominal ledger and sales ledger.
  • Handle the purchase order and ensure authorisation of invoices.
  • Ensure bank reconciliations are conducted.
  • Prepare and submit the VAT returns.
  • Handle the CIS returns.
  • Oversee the credit control function and ensure collection of rents.
  • Ensure payments have been allocated and payments made.

 

The Person: To apply, you will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) with recent experience of working within a property organisation (management, investment and so forth). Strong communication and leadership skills are needed as part of this dynamic, commercial position. Knowledge of a property management system such as QUBE, TRAMPS, YARDI or MRI will be highly advantageous, as well sound Excel and Sage skills. It will be a value add if you have payroll experience too. This is a very good opportunity which will enable you to work in a broad position and oversee a small team.
