Finance Manager Job - City of London - £250-£300 per day - 3 months fixed contract with possible extension
Your new company
Due to recent expansion and growth over the past couple years the university are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team and support the work load of the Financial Controller on day to day basis.
Your new role
Main responsibilities will include preparation, review and analysis of monthly management accounts, end year financial statement under UK GAAP, VAT returns, payroll, and rolling cash flow forecasts. Team management is necessary as you will be responsible for 2 qualified management accounts, payroll manager and 2 accounts assistant.
What you'll need to succeed
The preferred candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong Excel and modelling skills and familiarity with Sage 200. Experience within education is preferable.
