Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

BTG Recruitment are working with a leading retail business, who are looking to bring on board a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their growing team.

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will play a pivotal role in pushing forward the development of business partnering across the business to make certain all departments understand their cost base and create transparency of expenditure.

Main Responsibilities:

• Distribution and the preparation of reports reporting packages to the agreed timetable
• Analysis of growth and revenue performance, this will include trend analysis
• Analysis and preparation of the P&L report to the agreed timetable
• Provide detailed analysis of expense variance
• Analyse and track key indicators and metrics based upon performance
• Give support to the wider team in terms of preparing for business preparations
• Partner with other business functions and departments to determine and propel business performance

Skills required:

• You will be fully qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA
• Educated to degree level or hold the relevant experience within a previous role
• You will have previous experience of working in a commercial role
• Intermediate to Advanced level MS Excel is essential
• You must be able to work well under pressure and manage priorities
• You will have good interpersonal skills with a confident ability to communicate results of analysis to senior managers and directors
