Description

Reporting into the Finance Director the Credit Control Manager - 3 month contract will have the following responsibilities:

• Overseeing a team of 4 credit controllers and the daily cash routine
• Support accountancy function
• Reduce debtor days
• Being a point of escalation for complex queries
• Assessing all credit account applications and recommending credit limits
• Maintaining a thorough understanding of all individual sales ledger reconciliations
• Reconciling returns to customer debit notes, actively following through any discrepancies
• Leading, motivating and developing a small credit control team to ensure their targets and objectives are met

Profile

The successful Credit Control Manager - 3 month contract will have the following criteria:

• Experience of managing a small team and in a target driven environment
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to motivate and encourage individuals in the team
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft excel
• Proven track record in supporting management and reporting
• Analytical
• Year end experience is essential
