Treasury FX Risk Manager

Treasury Manager / FX Consultant job, corporate treasury in London, with FX advisory & treasury operations

Your new company
This international company has a large treasury function and is looking for a corporate treasury or treasury advisory who has focused on FX risk. This role will have you advising the business on FX risk along with FX dealing, front office operations and funding. The business is looking for someone with prior FX advisory experience, from either consultancy or a large international corporate.

Your new role
Within this role you will be responsible for advising the business on FX strategies and effective risk management. This will include financial market strategy from looking at the financial risk exposure to looking at hedging strategies across FX and interest rate. You will also manage FX, interest rate and money market trading activities, process inter-company funding and advise all group subsidiaries on FX exposure management and FX hedging.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have prior experience in an FX advisory role within consultancy or a large corporate where you have focused on Treasury FX risk management. You do not need prior experience of FX dealing but will have strong knowledge on the process involved. A large focus of the role will be advising the business on how best to manage FX and the risks associated. You will have a strong understanding of derivatives regulation under EMIR and Dodd Frank and be aware of the accounting standards relating to hedge accounting.
