This finance role will need to develop an understanding of how Marketing, Operations and Product actions can be optimised to support business growth; and through analysis make fact-based decisions that improves critical KPIs.
The role will need to drive and develop a collaborative culture across various departments and will be highly analytical.

The business is an international leading digital sports content and media group.
Description
The role will certainly develop and change as the company grows, but example critical "deliverables" are:
- Design, generate and manage reporting frameworks / dashboards for the business to manage performance on a weekly basis
- Work with the marketing team to measure, analyse & report online marketing programs
- Generate ad-hoc analyses and reporting to support marketing planning, strategy and churn management
- Delivering an understanding of who our customers are and how they are using the service. This will include customer funnel effectiveness, channel analysis and targeting effectiveness
- Perform data mining, blending large datasets to support analysis and drive further insights
- Investigate and explain the impact of Product changes or Operational issues
- Analysis of the profitability of our sports rights; based on rights cost, subscriber content consumption and marketing effort in generating these subscribers
- Prepare written analysis and present findings to senior managers
Profile
- 5+ Years' experience of modelling, data management, information systems and related software (e.g. Tableau, Excel/VBA, MS PowerBI. Looker etc.)
- Excellent analytical & financial modelling skills - demonstrable success in delivering real-time insight that is actionable and drives revenue, churn, margin improvement
- Track record of distilling complex information into compelling visualisations
- A history of working as an analyst in a subscription based business
Job Offer
The salary for this role is £65,000- £75,000 + bonus
