Page Personnel are working with an established business in the Wirral to recruit an Assistant Finance Manager to the team.
Client Details
Having built an excellent reputation in their field, this business has grown from strength to strength and now are a key player in their field. With a finance team of over 20, this Assistant Finance Manager will be integral in developing the finance function as a whole and supporting the wide business in business and process improvement.
Description
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing management accounts including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting process with variance analysis on a monthly basis
- Managing a team of 3 accounts assistants with responsibility for their training and progression
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Vat returns, EC sales and intrastat
- Payroll reconciliations
- Supporting the year end audit process and liaising with external auditors
Profile
We are looking for:
- Part qualified CIMA / ACCA
- Strong experience in management accounts
- Excellent communicator and able to build relationships with none finance stakeholders
- Line management experience would be desirable
- Able to lead and motivate a team with a dynamic personality
Job Offer
The package for the Assistant Finance Manager will include:
- £30,000-35,000 basic salary
