On behalf of a business based in the centre of Reading I am recruiting for a permanent Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.
Client Details
The company are a subsidiary of a market leading business who are a well known household name.
Description
The Management Accountant will be responsible for the following:
- Ownership of the full financials for a particular business area including an accurate view of actuals and forecasts.
- Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of performance against targets - provide financial and operational analysis and reporting for the business
- Produce and analyse P&Ls, providing insightful commentary gained from interaction with the Sales & Marketing team, challenging results where necessary. Driving profitability for the area you are responsible for.
- Close liaison with Sales regarding plan & strategy - incorporate into Management Reporting. Provide Financial input to reviews.
- Provide guidance and support to the business, ensuring they take ownership of their numbers.
- Identify trends, correlations, risks and/or opportunities.
- KPI reporting & analysis.
- Process implementation/improvement where applicable.
Profile
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA and actively studying towards completion
- Proven management accounting and financial analysis experience
- Previous experience of business partnering is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skill
