Your new role
Supporting Finance Manager and accurately reporting on financial performance, working closely with Contract Manager, budget holders, shared service centre and other functions. Supporting routine production of the financials including challenging the numbers and providing financial support to relevant pricing activity as appropriate. Financial modelling. Estimated actual costs of completion (EAC). Balance sheet reconciliations. Short term cash forecasts, including working capital analysis & WIP calculations. Financial information to deliver management accounts, forecasts, budgets, strategic plan. Detailed variance analysis. Ensuring business processes provide effective controls whilst meeting demands of the business.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with the ability to understand & manipulate data to present clear and concise financial information for review. Extensive experience of MS Office, including advanced Excel. ERP systems an advantage. Management accounting. Project accounting. Strong interpersonal & communication skills with both financial & non-financial users. A manner that supports & challenges the business. You will be available immediately or at short notice and would be able to commit to a long-term assignment.
