I am currently recruiting for an dynamic Commercial Finance Manager to join a very large UK based telecommunications company. The role will be closely aligned with the strategic side of the business and will require the individual to give strong analytical support to senior management within a specific division of the larger company. It will require a malleable and sharp individual who is able to communicate with all areas of the business and easily translate finance based arguments to decision makers.
The position is in an enviable central London location and is requiring somebody to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide robust strategic finance support to all areas of the business unit
- Drive accountability and advise to ensure that colleagues are hitting their targets
- Oversee a small team
- Financial Reporting and underlying trend analysis
- The delivery of the forecast and the budget process
- Interaction with senior stakeholders to influence business decision
- Proactively identify key business opportunities
- Liaise with the shared service team on the weekly p&l estimate
Key Requirements
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Strong academic background
- A high level of commercial awareness
- A strong focus on deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- A strong team player
