Accounts Assistant

Reporting into the Finance Director, the Accounts Assistant will be working full time in attractive modern and fresh offices with a great team of people who are all very dedicated in their work.

Description

You role as Accounts Assistant will include the following duties; managing the sales and purchase ledger process from start to finish. Building relationships with clients and dealing and taking ownership over credit control and aged debt. You will be responsible for completing month end reports for allocated clients as well as assisting the Accountant at month end with various duties. You will be setting up new accounts and running credit checks and checking affordability. On top of this you will be doing other various ad hoc duties to support the finance function.

Profile

As the successful Accounts Assistant, you will:

• Be AAT Qualified
• Have 2+ experience in a similar role
• Have good sales and purchase ledger experience
• Good at building relationships at all levels
• Enjoy taking on new roles and responsibilities
• Be able to work well on own initiative
• Be friendly and personable. Enjoy working in a team environment
