Systems Manager

Our client is a high profile, unique, one of a kind leisure/retail organisation in the UK, with significant presence in their industry. Their £900m turnover with impressive year on year growth over the last few years, presents a very exciting interim opportunity for qualified Controls Accountant/Auditor.

The Systems & Process Manager is the single point of contact responsible for standard use of the accounting system, process and application of policy across the business unit.

As process owner for accounting processes, the role works closely with system teams to ensure that processes are satisfied. The manager is a subject matter expert in, consulting on the deployment and configuration for certain businesses.

Deliverables include systems manuals, training materials, design documents and enhancement requirements.

Skills/Education required:

• Navision
• SAP
• Experience of improving controls
• Experience of working for a multinational organisation
• Track record of working with senior business leaders
• Adaptable operator with the ability to support, manage & direct commercial and business requirements
• Ability to solve problems/draw conclusions, exhibiting judgment and a good understanding of the key issues. Strong on execution and driving results in a collaborative manner
• Must be comfortable with both corporate and creative executives at senior management level and have the ability to translate business and financial matters in a clear and comprehensive manner to non-finance people
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant
