Statutory Reporting Manager

The Company:

This well known leading specialist Pharmaceutical business with a global presence, who recently have gone through some internal movements and change. Based in Buckinghamshire, the business continues to grow both locally and overseas, and owing to this they are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join the finance team.

The purpose of the role will be to support the Finance Director and take ownership over all statutory reporting, Month End and periodical reporting, including UK GAAP and IFRS.

Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Finance Director, your main duties will include:

• Preparation of consolidation schedules and liaise with auditors, parent company and associated entities.
• Manage the preparation of half year and year end statutory financial statements for all the Group entities.
• Manage the preparation and submission of Corporation tax and VAT returns for the Group.
• Partner with the Finance Director on tax planning issues.
• Preparation of tax notes for the statutory financial statements.
• Assist with the preparation and review of business cases to support Capital Expenditure for the Group.
• Completion of annual returns for all Group.
• Oversee the accounting transaction function ensuring the duties are performed in a accurate and timely manner.
  
  

Your Background

• Qualified Accountant with either a CA, ACCA or CIMA Qualification
• Proven previous experience within a similar role.
• Strong technical ability including UK GAAP, IFRS and knowledge of UK tax and VAT.
• Experience with a large ERP system with strong Excel skills
• Strong communication skills coupled with strong problem solving skills
