An exciting niche firm of accountants are seeking an ambitious and technically strong individual, ideally with a background in audit to join their growing firm.
They offer great incentives and rewards, and the firm have grown considerably in the past few years
The role is effectively a senior executive role with a PA to partner element (for the corporate finance partner, who does receive queries from all clients on all kinds of matters also). It will involve a great deal of variety and special projects
Your role will be split between the following elements:
Year End Financial Stats, including group consolidations
Audit
Review (of larger clients, payrolls, reports)
Partner assistance/pa to partner element
Research/new client handling
Ad hoc requests: Valuations, Financial Due Diligence, reports, forecasts
You will need to be fully qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent, with a strong audit background.
Experience in preparing accounts under FRS 102 is essential.
One of the clients' main hopes for the position is that the person provides them with clean and cleared audit files for the handful of audits they have, to a high technical level.
