Key Responsibilities:
Provide support and technical input into the UK Reporting Finance design Assess new and existing
Regulatory change against the solution and identify potential impacts
Maintaining key design documents, such as the GL specification
Performing testing on the new solution and on migration processes, identifying and assessing defects as required
Support the transition of the project into BAU, assisting in the development of new processes, writing documentation and providing training
Support to the BAU teams during the transition of the project
Working within the wider project team and third party suppliers, communicating effectively with all parties
Qualifications required:

Educated to degree level
Qualified or nearly qualified Accountant or by experience
Experience required:

Developed depth and breadth of expertise within a similar accounting and reporting environment
Excellent time management skills with the ability to flex to changes in demands and priorities
Excellent communication skills
Proven experience of building and maintain positive working relationships
Proven experience in developing and producing effective monthly management reporting packs
Experience in the preparation of statutory accounts is desirable
Knowledge and understanding of standards and regulations
Highly competent in the use of MS particularly Excel.
Experience in a range of systems (eg JDE, SQL, HFM, Essbase, Caseware etc)
