Due to continued growth they are recruiting an ambitious and commercially driven qualified Finance Manager to be based at their Nano-Analysis HQ in High Wycombe.
This business unit operates within the UK and Europe with a current turnover of c£60m. This is a high profile job reporting to the Finance Director in which you will be responsible for the accounting, reporting and analysis for Oxford Instruments and will business partner with UK and European management. The Finance Manager will manage a team of 5 including AR, financial accounts, costings, analysis and systems. You will ensure that monthly reporting is delivered accurately and in line with Group standards.
You also will provide reporting and analysis for operational teams, providing insight and guidance, ensuring that the business has the best information possible to make sound commercial decisions. You will lead the financial planning process for the business and will also prepare and review budgets and forecasts.
The Group is planning on implementing a new ERP system next year and the Finance Manager will be a finance representative in the implementation of this into the UK business. The successful candidate is likely to be a graduate calibre qualified accountant who has good experience in both financial accounting and business partnering. You will have a track record of improving processes and procedures, and will strive for excellence. You will have strong leadership skills and will be able to show how you have developed teams and led projects. Experience of working within manufacturing would be advantageous and a track record of both UK & international finance is a pre-requisite.
