Joining our collaborative team on a fixed term contract until end of January 2018 as an Assistant Relationship Manager within Insurance Finance, Investment Operations, you'll manage the strategic day to day relationships with our outsourced service providers (both fund managers and 3rd parties) which support both departmental and also for some operational relationships the wider Insurance business, ensuring the services are delivered to expectation, contracts and governance is in place and our commercial interests are protected.
You'll manage queries and issues relating to suppliers and be responsible for managing the supplier billing process i.e. logging of invoices, validating and managing payments. You'd manage the relationship with all third parties including the review of performance against service standards; ensuring outputs by 3rd party suppliers are compliant with current legislative requirements.
You will also be required to liaise with internal/external auditors, and regulators to accommodate their requirements, and act upon any agreed audit recommendations within agreed timescales.
With an understanding of fund administration, you'll have excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills with service providers within a Fund Accounting area, with the ability to influence senior management. You'd also have excellent Microsoft excel skills and an understanding of Investment instruments and market practices, specifically including Property, Derivatives and FCA reporting.
