Retail Chief Financial Officer

Highly adept Chief Financial Officer required to lead a privately owned retail business through its sale. At a critical stage in the process, this is an opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the process is a company-wide success. The job requires a CFO with the technical proficiency and experience to integrate all business functions and lay out a framework for long term growth post-transaction.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate expertise in implementing financial systems, processes and controls, along with KPIs, dashboards and board packs. You must be commercially able, and comfortable operating in a highly leveraged environment. The role ranges from high level strategy and the gritty detail, and you will be expected to address the entire remit with a high level of professionalism and rigour.

A successful CFO must be a qualified accountant with prior experience managing day to day finance functions within a growing retail business. It is vital for our client that the CFO has a proven track record leading transactions up to a sale and subsequent integrations. As a leader within the company, you will also need excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
