My client is a growth stage Tech start up based in Soho who have asked us to help them find a Financial Controller to work alongside their inspirational Managing Director in London. The business is growing at a fantastic rate and needs a commercial minded finance professional to deliver real insight in the the companies financial performance.
Your new role
This position also has a strong commercial finance element to it. You will have excellent exposure to the Managing Director in London and work closely with them to review the performance of the business, plan/ forecast and budget effectively, influence strategic decisions and add value to the business by directly improving the firm's profit margins. With the business being relatively new, there is a real 'hands-on' element to the position also assisting with transactional work.
What you'll need to succeed
I am looking to introduce our client to a driven Finance Manager/ Financial Controller who is fully qualified (ACA, ACCA) with at least 3-4 years PQE. You will need a track record of successfully leading a finance team and supporting a Managing Director. You will need to have recently worked in a technology business or similar and be able to show that you have held a broad financial management role.
