Project Accountant job working for an International Development Consultancy paying £30,000 + Study

An International Development Consultancy are seeking a Project Accountant to produce and manage the accounts for overseas projects, liaising with project managers and clients worldwide. This company provide consulting services to government organisations and non for profit companies to reduce poverty and improve infrastructure in developing countries.
Your new role
You will be responsible for producing the accounts from start to finish for projects ranging between £1 million-£60 million and liaising with project managers in the field. You will produce a P&L for each project, commenting on project performance and comparing budgets vs actuals, explaining the accounts to the project managers. You will also produce financial reports to international reporting standards, post accruals and prepayments, maintain fixed asset registers, raise client invoices and chase outstanding debt. Further to this you will also audit the accounts.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a Project Accounting or multi-entity accounting role, ideally with an international business, where you were producing the P&L, financial reports and monitoring budgets. You will have a degree in a relevant subject and will be Part Qualified in ACCA or CIMA. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to speak with project managers, directors and clients in the UK and overseas. You must be meticulous and organised and able to prioritise various projects and demands. Fluency in another language would be an advantage.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a starting salary of £30,000 - £32,000 dependant on your previous experience as well as full study support, travel insurance and use of a free gym. You may also have the opportunity to travel overseas a couple of times a year.
