Digital Finance Manager
£55,000 - £65,000 p/a + amazing benefits (Grade D)

As a finance manager at Co-op Digital, you'll be part of a new and dedicated team that's providing our digital colleagues with the financial support they need to deliver our digital transformation. We'll need you to take a really hands-on approach as we embed the team within the digital function, and you'll have sole responsibility for reporting and management accounting right across the board. If you can help us deliver the strong financial control we need, you'll also have plenty of opportunities to really make your mark by providing our leaders with foresight and analysis that'll help them shape our digital strategy.

What you'll do:
- Prepare monthly management accounts for Co-op Digital, providing foresight and analysis
- Develop periodic forecasting for Co-op Digital, providing visibility of risks and opportunities
- Proactively communicate financial insight and information to digital colleagues
- Work with our digital teams to provide financial education and strong financial control
- Be the point of contact for finance queries and work with digital people to help solve problems
- Help to apply Co-op financial controls to our agile digital environment
To be successful as our digital finance manager, you'll need plenty of accounting experience, plus strong technical skills that'll help you do the basics well. Experience in an agile, digital environment would be great, but it's not essential. To really make a difference, you'll need energy, initiative, and a willingness to get involved with all kinds of things (big and small) while we work to establish our new Digital Finance team.
What you'll bring:
- Significant accounting experience, with the technical accountancy skills to own our digital management accounts
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification (or qualification by experience)
- Advanced MS Excel skills (you'll need to build pivot tables, vlookups and macros)
- A really forward-thinking, engaging approach with the ability to build strong relationships
- The energy to get involved in all kinds of tasks and processes as we embed the new team
