Page Executive are exclusively managing the search for an exciting Head of Tax role for an internationally recognised and respected Financial Services organisation. Based in their London HQ you will be managing all the Taxes affairs of the group in the relevant territories.

Our client is an iconic brand in the FS world, with a long and established history but with a dynamic and modern culture. They are truly global and operate across in a wide range of markets including investment banking, asset management, wealth management and retail/corporate banking.
Description
Managing a small team you will have responsibility for the all the Tax affairs of the group across its core markets in your region. Primarily you will be UK focused but you will also work hand in hand with the Group Head of Tax on global projects and international Tax matters. More specifically this will involve:
- Leading your team ensuring the organisations meets its compliance and reporting deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitoring and advising the business on the impact of changes in legislation and Tax policy (BEPS for example) both in the UK and internationally
- Driving Tax efficiency's on both on domestic and international projects and transactions
- Working with senior management and the board on global management projects; large scale group simplification project for instance
- Offering tax support and planning advice to the operational business units of a wide range of activities
- Leading the CRM relationship with HMRC
- Developing and marshalling the relationship with advisors both Big 4 and law firms and at times instructing Counsel where necessary also
Profile
You will be a qualified Tax professional having ideally trained with a Big 4 firm. Significant Financial Services experience is required but our client is open to a an experienced candidate looking for a move from the profession or someone looking to further their career in house
Job Offer
Circa £120,000 - £140,000 plus generous bonus and benefits package
