FP&A Analyst

A leading FMCG company is looking for an experienced FP&A Analyst to provide quality, accurate & timely financial support through development and maintenance of financial planning and management reporting tools.

The role requires engagement with the controlling team and wider business to understand the requirements being placed on these areas.

Further responsibilities include:

• Management reporting; providing insight to the operating expense numbers and challenging the numbers
• Ensuring readiness of responsible sections of financial planning model for each planning cycle
• Support process with analytics
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the business (including operational) to assist with the interpretation of data to help meet goals
• Identify efficiencies & challenge business processes that will allow FP&A and financial controlling to add more value to the business

The ideal candidate for this role must have:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA – qualified or nearly qualified with relevant experience
• Educated to Degree level
• Experience working in a multi-site, multinational organisation
• Previously worked with IBM TM1 desirable, not essential
• Previously worked in a managerial role
• Strong reporting and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate activities including budgets, forecasts, month-end close processes
• Ability to influence at Senior Management and Leadership team level
