Audit Manager
The role is to provide a high quality service to clients in respect of the audit of statutory accounts and on occasions, other ad hoc assignments.
*Carrying out audit work on a range of clients in accordance with internal procedures and programmes
*Previous experience of working with clients in the charity education sector as well as corporate clients up to £100m turnover, would be an advantage
*Planning audits to ensure approach is both efficient and cost effective and that completion aspects completed on a timely basis
*Starting to set and review budgets, control WIP, monitor work against agreed targets and to assist with billing.
*Is typically fully qualified in area of specialism through professional qualification or commensurate professional experience
*Plans tasks effectively and monitors assignment / case budget and timelines, advising manager and client of progress (as appropriate)
*Uses a range of techniques to analyse issues, applying previous experience and technical knowledge to propose solutions to problems
*Qualifications: (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
*Solid experience in practice, 50% of which should be relevant audit experience
*Previous exposure/working knowledge of PROaudit
*Ideally worked within a top 20 firm
*Keen to add value to our clients' businesses
*Team worker/people management skills
