An opportunity has arisen with a highly reputable and international company with offices spanning across the UK, USA, Australia and India. They specialise in providing some of the world's best technology led-defence and aerospace solutions. Due to an increase in work they are seeking an ambitious, project accountant in their Preston office to support the project teams, as well as handle a new contract with the value of up to £1billion.
As a project accountant you will be responsible for preparing profitability and sales trading for overseas contracts. You will directly assist the project team in managing the contract from budgeting through effective interpretation, challenge and presentations, and finally achieving stretch target where possible.
You will provide all month and end activity reports for oversea contracts including claiming milestones, trading sales & margin, allocating cash, re-profiling & raising of hedging and raising journals.
This is a demanding and exciting role, the list is for this not exhaustive and you will need to use your initiative and business acumen at all times.
To be considered for this project accountant role you must:
- Be either CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified
- Have business and financial modelling experience
- Have ERP experience
