Being an SME business this is a fully hands on role and will have a wide variety of duties. You will also interact regularly with all aspects of the business.
* Support the FM/FC with the production of management and financial accounts
* Month end process - bank recs/balance sheet reconciliations/stock recs
* Customer and product sales analysis to facilitate stock ordering and assist the sales team
* Financial modelling to support the directors
* Stock control
* Ownership of the sales ledger. There is a team of 3 in the sales processing department who process orders and raise invoices you will oversee the invoicing, raise credit notes, reconcile sales each month.
* Credit control - cash receipts/month end statements/chasing debts/liaising with customer accounts departments
* Ownership of purchase ledger
To be considered for this role you will either be a qualified accountant or be qualified by experience.
This is a small business (turnover around £6m) with a small team onsite of 10, so you will regularly be interacting with everyone.
The part time requirement for this role is 25-30 hours per week, ideally over 5 days per week but there is flexibility on this depending on individual circumstances.
The FTE equivalent salary for this role is £35k. The company also offer a strong pension, good holidays and onsite parking.
