My client is a large Central Government department who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their impressive finance team.

Description

The main responsibilities for the Finance Manager will include:

 

  • Support finance and operational managers with financial data and results
  • Managing a successful team to ensure monthly management accounts are accurate and complete offering guidance and assistance
  • Organising tasks and projects on a daily basis for team members
  • Analyse and synthesise large data for decision making outputs to report to senior management
  • Coordinate financial analysis including forecasting and budgeting
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal partners
  • Assisting with the annual financial planning process
  • Updating the HM Treasury of financial results and revised forecasts for the year.
  • Contributing the development of management accounting policies and practices
  • Ad hoc project work

 

Profile

 

The successful candidate will have the following:

 

  • Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA,
  • Demonstrated management experience of a team of 2 or more
  • Government Central / Bodies experience
  • Exceptional time management in meeting deadlines
  • Strong understanding of financial systems
  • Interpersonally strong
