My client is a large Central Government department who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their impressive finance team.

Description
The main responsibilities for the Finance Manager will include:
- Support finance and operational managers with financial data and results
- Managing a successful team to ensure monthly management accounts are accurate and complete offering guidance and assistance
- Organising tasks and projects on a daily basis for team members
- Analyse and synthesise large data for decision making outputs to report to senior management
- Coordinate financial analysis including forecasting and budgeting
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal partners
- Assisting with the annual financial planning process
- Updating the HM Treasury of financial results and revised forecasts for the year.
- Contributing the development of management accounting policies and practices
- Ad hoc project work
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA,
- Demonstrated management experience of a team of 2 or more
- Government Central / Bodies experience
- Exceptional time management in meeting deadlines
- Strong understanding of financial systems
- Interpersonally strong
