Part Qualified Financial Accountant

Our reputable Milton Keynes based blue chip are currently recruiting for a part qualified accountant for their global brands on an initial 6-month contract. You will have responsibility for ensuring that processes, systems and controls are in place to support the accurate production of statutory accounting. This will include business partnering with operating teams including tax and treasury functions. The role requires strong management strategy to understand local reporting requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a busy but friendly environment. The chosen candidate must be a part or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and previous management experience essential.

Duties will include:
• Financial & management reporting
• Business partnering & support
• Planning & forecasting
• External audit preparation
• Monthly stock reporting
• Statutory financial reporting
• Sales reconciliation
• Maintain stock balance sheet control
• Tax pack production
• Adhoc analysis and projects to support the needs of the business

You must have:
• Part Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Excellent knowledge of technical accounting and financial reporting
• Audit and Statutory accounts experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and a system and process mind-set
