A well-established, reputable manufacturing business in the Wakefield area are recruiting for a Head Office Accountant to join their team to replace a retiree. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to progress themselves and drive the company forward.
Duties to include:
*Producing monthly financial reports
*Working closely with the finance teams from US, UK & Australia
*Consolidations & production of monthly group numbers and board packs
*Responsibility for tax reporting and tax disclosure
*Group Treasury Functions and transfer pricing reviews
*Analysing, reviewing & controlling working capital
The main purpose of the role is to support the group finance director in the efficient running of the group's finances. Key responsibilities are production of the board pack, monthly consolidations & half yearly & full year statutory accounts. This is a really exciting opportunity for a fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant.
You will ideally have CIMA/ACCA/ACA and previous experience in a head office environment & consolidations in particular. It could also suit a practice trained accountant looking for a move into industry. A good level of tax expertise would be an advantage, as would a good working knowledge of Excel. Excellent communication skills and an ability to show initiative are essential.
