The team is made up of 50 Analysts and Consultants, including a number of Citywealth award winners. Description

As an experienced Private Client Tax Assistant Manager you will have responsibility for the following:

  • Managing a portfolio of High net worth individuals and ultra high net worth individuals and providing tax advice in relation to their complex tax affairs.
  • Managing and reviewing tax compliance, completed by the firm's compliance centre.
  • Taking responsibility for client relationships and liaising directly with clients and third parties.
  • Having a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture.

Profile

  • Have strong technical ability relevant to issues relating to complex personal tax.
  • ACA or CTA qualified with good understanding of relevant tax legislation.
  • Very good with numbers.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to plan and prioritise workload.
  • Strong communication skills - both written and oral.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Strong client engagement experience.
  • Drive and ambition to succeed and exceed clients' expectations and a pro-active approach to personal development.
  • A good communicator whether speaking with clients or colleagues alike.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Experience of people management and interest and skills to develop more junior members of the team.
  • Experience working in a large or tax specialist accountancy practice.
