Systems Accountant

A leading automotive organisation with a global presence are looking for a Systems Accountant SAP-BPC to work in their central head office based in London. The Systems Accountant SAP-BPC will report into Senior Finance management and will be responsible for the smooth running of the Group Consolidation and Management Information Systems soon to be SAP-BPC. This role will play a key part of the transition and implementation covering both Reporting and Planning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing support to the Group Reporting and Group FP&A teams during key reporting periods ensuring trouble-free submissions and consolidations provide overall data integrity
• Reviewing new and existing user access to the systems ensuring that access is available at all times and in compliance with controls framework
• Providing finance users across the support, training and advice on the systems and ensuring that system issues are logged for resolution
• Liaising with the IT Team and Group Finance users to ensure that the system infrastructure is maintained in compliance with IT General Controls framework and action issues as they arise
• Liaising with third party consultants to trouble shoot and enhance the systems
• Provide support to other users in the development, maintenance and creation of reports used by Group finance and worldwide business units
• Developing the Group Financial Information reporting applications to ensure that they are fit for purpose and meet the needs of users and the business
• Master Data Management to include maintenance chart of accounts and organisation structures in all Group Financial Reporting and BI solutions

The Successful Systems Accountant SAP-BPC will:

• Have strong systems knowledge with experience of SAP-BPC
• Have a good understanding of financial accounting and businesses processes
• Be a Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or overseas equivalent)
• Have Strong excel skills
• Will be a strong communicator (both oral and written)
