Group Finance Reporting Analyst - Cardiff - £40,000

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen in the accounts department, of this market leading, global steel manufacturer in their field. The group operates across several countries and has numerous plants.

Your new role
Your new role will require you to design and implement controls and processes to improve the accuracy of monthly reporting, assist the finance department in managing special projects, perform analysis at group level and help implement improvements in the finance department. You will be preparing the group treasury reporting pack and preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders when required.

You will be dealing with finance projects, creating action plans, liaising with management across the business and delivering professional presentations. You will deal with treasury reporting, which will include consolidating the results of the UK group monthly, analysing the figures and explaining deviations, preparing and presenting the figures to senior management. You will also manage the implementation of improvements within the finance department with the help of the senior finance team


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be capable at performing effectively at senior level. You will be confident in controlling and analyzing the the business, and determining key strategies for the business. It would be advantageous to come from a "Big 4" background, however this is not essential. You will possess a full professional accounting qualification, either CIMA, ACCA or ACA.

What you'll get in return
In return you will get a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience. You will also get a great benefits package which includes cycles to work and childcare vouchers, a competitive pension scheme, and a yearly performance related bonus between 5-10%.
