An Assistant Accountant is being recruited for a reputable FMCG business based in Wrexham.

Based in Wrexham, this FMCG business supplies across the whole of Europe and represents a very well known brand which is known throughout the world. They have an exciting role to join their established accountancy team which will offer some really strong exposure to accounts and the successful applicant will gain some valuable experience to help further their qualification.
Description
As Assistant Accountant, reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will be to:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Posting accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Reporting on MI and distributing across the business
- Bank reconciliations
- Overseeing accounts payable
- Weekly cash flow forecasting and reporting
- VAT reporting
Profile
The successful applicant for the Assistant Accountant must:
- Be qualified AAT or studying CIMA / ACCA
- Have strong communication skills, able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team
- Able to prioritise their workloads
- Experience working in a similar role
- Experience of Sage and Excel
