Finance Analyst

Element Recruitment are partnering exclusively with a fast growing and successful Bristol client to recruit a Finance Analyst. Reporting to the Financial Controller this role will be heavily involved in month-end process as well as post-production analysis of financial information.  

The role

As a Finance Analyst/Business partner your responsibilities will include however will not be limited to;

• Support the budget setting process and contribute to the preparation of annual and medium-term business plans within agreed work areas.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities within the designated revenue streams.
• Support implementation of accounting and financial policies and procedures and ensure they are constantly reviewed suggesting any changes or development required.
• Assist senior managers to develop and monitor the services provided, and ensure they are properly accounted for
• Business partner internal stakeholder to disseminate financial awareness throughout the organisation
• Production of the monthly management accounts
• Preparation and accurate maintenance of spreadsheets and databases in support of work areas as directed by senior members of the team
• Download time recording data, analyse and create necessary journals and production of associated management reports
• Any other ad-hoc project requirements

The Profile

• Ideally finalist/qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACMA,) or equivalent experience
• Strong interpersonally with an ability to engage with finance/non-finance staff
• Preference on candidates who have operated within a high volume, SME environment
• Great communication skills – ability to engage with a large variety of stakeholders
• Ideally 1 year experience within a similar position
