Financial Accountant.

6 months Interim Contract role, £300 per day.

Manchester City Centre based.

I am currently supporting a well-known retail client, based in Manchester city centre, with an urgent role for an Interim Financial Accountant. This role is to be part of their expanding finance team. The growth is due to a year on year profit increase and natural expansion plans within the company as a whole.

This role will be a great addition to the already thriving finance team and a strong addition to any mid to senior level Finance Professional's CV.

Day to day duties include;

Assisting with the group consolidated year end reporting;

Liaising with external auditors, and supporting on the consolidations;

Proposing and implementing a reporting pack;

Reconciliation year end performance reporting will be under your remit;

A focus on year end close and liaison with internal stakeholders and external auditors;

Assisting the Financial Controller with corporation tax matters.

The perfect candidate must hit the following criteria;

Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA);

At least 5 years Post Qualification Experience;

A proven track record of delivering to deadlines;

Any sector experience is desirable but not an essential;

Other Skills - Effective Communication, Advanced Excel skills and experience in a similar role, as above.

The day rate on offer for this technical role is £300 per day based on 5 days working per week.
